9E aconteceu naqueles dias que Jesus, tendo ido de Nazaré da Galiléia, foi batizado por João, no Jordão. 10E, logo que saiu da água, viu os céus abertos, e o Espírito, que como pomba descia sobre ele. 11E ouviu-se uma voz dos céus, que dizia: Tu és o meu Filho amado em quem me comprazo. (Marcos 1:9-11)
9In those days Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan. 10And just as he was coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens torn apart and the Spirit descending like a dove on him. 11And a voice came from heaven, “You are my Son, the Beloved;h with you I am well pleased.” (Mark 1:9-11)

E o seu suor tornou-se em grandes gotas de sangue que corriam até ao chão. 45E, levantando-se da oração, foi ter com os seus discípulos e achou-os dormindo de tristeza. 46E disse-lhes: Por que estais dormindo? Levantai-vos, e orai para que não entreis em tentação. 47E, estando ele ainda a falar, surgiu uma multidão; e um dos doze, que se chamava Judas, ia adiante dela e chegou-se a Jesus para o beijar. 39Then going out he went, as was his custom, to the Mount of Olives, and the disciples followed him. 40When he arrived at the place he said to them, "Pray that you may not undergo the test." 41After withdrawing about a stone's throw from them and kneeling, he prayed, 42saying, "Father, if you are willing, take this cup away from me; still, not my will but yours be done." 43(And to strengthen him an angel from heaven appeared to him. 44He was in such agony and he prayed so fervently that his sweat became like drops of blood falling on the ground.) 45When he rose from prayer and returned to his disciples, he found them sleeping from grief. 46He said to them, "Why are you sleeping? Get up and pray that you may not undergo the test." 47While he was still speaking, a crowd approached and in front was one of the Twelve, a man named Judas. He went up to Jesus to kiss him. (Luke 22:39-47)

14I am the good shepherd, and I know mine and mine know me, 15just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I will lay down my life for the sheep. 16I have other sheep that do not belong to this fold. 26Durante a refeição, Jesus tomou o pão, benzeu-o, partiu-o e o deu aos discípulos, dizendo: “Tomai e comei, isto é meu corpo”. 27Tomou depois o cálice, rendeu graças e deu-lho, dizendo: “Bebei dele todos, 28porque isto é meu sangue, o sangue da Nova Aliança, derramado por muitos homens em remissão dos pecados. 26While they were eating, Jesus took bread, said the blessing, broke it, and giving it to his disciples said, "Take and eat; this is my body." 27Then he took a cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you, 28for this is my blood of the covenant, which will be shed on behalf of many for the forgiveness of sins.(Matthew 26:26-28)

54Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day. 55For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. 56Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him.
57Just as the living Father sent me and I have life because of the Father, so also the one who feeds on me will have life because of me.
