1295 - A rainha Maria de Molina apresenta seu filho, Fernando IV, às Cortes de Valladolid, nas quais o jovem monarca foi reconhecido como rei, embora já tivesse sido proclamado como tal na catedral de Toledo.
1295 - Queen María de Molina presents her son, Fernando IV, in the Cortes of Valladolid in 1295, in which the young monarch was recognized as king, although he had already been proclaimed as such in the cathedral of Toledo.

1868 - Henri Oulevay faz uma caricatura de Jean-Léon Gérôme que reproduz seu quadro "A Execução do Marechal Ney", retratando o pintor em frente ao muro, com críticos de arte como o pelotão de fuzilamento de partida, carregando canetas e penas em vez de rifles. "Vive Manet" está rabiscado no muro, uma referência à série de pinturas "A Execução do Imperador Maximiliano", feita por Édouard Manet.
1868 - Henri Oulevay make a caricature where Jean-Léon Gérôme is depicted in front of the wall with art critics as the departing firing squad, carrying pens and quills instead of rifles. "Vive Manet" is scrawled on the wall, a reference to "The Execution of Emperor Maximilian" series of paintings made by Édouard Manet.

1939 - Hattie McDaniel ganha o Oscar de Melhor Atriz Coadjuvante por sua participação em “...E o Vento Levou”. Ela foi a primeira negra a receber esta honraria.
1939 - Hattie McDaniel won the Oscar for Best Actress in a Supporting Role thank to “Gone with the Wind”. She was the first colored person to be awarded this recognition.
