Chequers Court, Ellesborough, Inglaterra.
The Chequers Locket Ring - comissioned in 1575 - ruby, diamond, mother-of-pearl, and enamel belonged to Queen Elizabeth I; when opened, shows two enamel portraits: at bottom Elizabeth I, at top is believed to be of her mother, Anne Boleyn, or stepmother, Catherine Parr.
